Computer Engineering Department at University of Technology has signed a contract to reactivate the Global Cisco Networking Academy with Al-Mansour University College. The contract aims to provide up-to-date training curricula that meet the requirements of the job market in Iraq and globally, under the supervision of specialized experts in a solid academic environment. The contract was signed in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, with the participation of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khawla Salah Khushan, and the Associate Dean of Al-Mansour University College for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shakir Salman. Signing the contract on behalf of the University of Technology was Professor Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, and from Al-Mansour University College, Dr. Mahmoud Shakir Mahmoud, Regional Cisco Academy Coordinator. Also present were Dr. Amir Mousa Thuwaini, the Cisco Academy Coordinator at the University of Technology, certified trainer Dr. Laith Baqer Salman, and Dr. Sari Tahseen Reshan, Director of the Media and Government Communication Department at the University of Technology. During the ceremony, discussions and expertise exchanges took place between the two parties to outline a future plan for the academy and activate partnerships in other fields, such as libraries and joint research.

 

   

 

 

 

 

Pursuant to the ministerial order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, numbered 2153 on 26/08/2024, for the appointment of master's degree holders, Computer Engineering Department is proceeding with the registration process for these appointees by systematically recording their data as a guidance center in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education.

The data registration began on Tuesday, 27/08/2024, in the department's conference hall. This initiative is part of the university's efforts to prepare all logistical arrangements to cooperate with the new appointees and manage their registration procedures and commencement of work.
